Location # 3 The Cunningham Park hole is an average fishing hole and may see
some king salmon caught here in June and July. The real draw for this hole is for
bank fishing because it has easy road access and has lots of river bank for people
to spread out on. There is some king boat fishing here but the main effort is bank
silver fishing in August and Sept. Location

# 4 The Beaver Creek Hole is the first
Great Fishing Hole on the Kenai River. This hole is a boat fishing hole only.
The hole depth averages around 6 - 12 feet with deep spike holes reaching down to
as much as 20 - 25 feet deep depending on the height of the water during high and
low tides which greatly effect this hole. This is a small hole and is great for back
bouncing baits and it can hold a great many fish as long as too many boats don't
attempt to fish it at the same time. If you see anymore than a dozen boats fishing
this hole you should not attempt to fish it because all the extra boat noise only helps
push the fish up river all the quicker thus giving you little time to fish for them.
